Program Overview

Join CURE Media Group, the source for cancer patient education and publisher of CURE and Heal magazines, at this year’s ONS Annual Congress in Philadelphia to celebrate the second annual CURE Extraordinary Healer Award for Oncology Nursing. This year’s award will be presented at a special reception with Honorary Mistress of Ceremonies, Loretta Swit, Emmy-award winning actress from the critically acclaimed series M*A*S*H*, on the evening of May 15 and is open to all ONS Congress attendees. The Extraordinary Healer Award tradition began last year with a contest inviting readers to submit essay nominations describing the compassion and helpfulness they received from a special oncology nurse. This year’s three essay finalists and their respective nurses will be flown to ONS’s 33rd Annual Congress in Philadelphia to be honored.   The event includes a reception and awards ceremony, so bring a friend (and some tissues) and join us for food, music and fun as we celebrate the field of oncology nursing—the night promises to be inspiring!
