Join us for a special program for nurses working with patients with breast cancer! Let us help you help your patients! The program is designed to enhance the knowledge of nurses with intermediate to advanced experience supporting postmenopausal women with hormone-receptor positive early breast cancer who receive aromotase inhibitors.
As a nurse, you can turn the challenges you face into opportunities by enhancing your education. Every challenge you overcome moves you—and your patients—a step closer to optimal care. This program exists to help you and your fellow nurses reach that goal. You will walk away from this program with a better understanding of:
- Risk of recurrence and metastasis in early breast cancer
- Effective treatment methods, emphasizing hormonal therapies
- The importance of adherence to therapy
- Counseling techniques for discussing sexual health with patients with breast cancer
This ancillary event is being held in conjunction with ONS 33rd Annual Congress.
RSVP Deadline May 9, 2008 at 5 pm.
